Textilhögskolan har kommit med förslag på att vi studenter ska arbeta på olika premisser och förutsättningar, och har inte tagit sitt ansvar för att möta våra behov under coronakrisen (COVID-19).
Vi accepterar inte misskommunikation och att rätten till fullständig utbildning samt examensarbete vidmakthålls utan kompensering.
Vi vill ha underskrifter från utomstående, men även tidigare examinerade, på att den tid som lagts på examensarbetet har varit begränsad, eftersom vi nu behöver gå med på begränsad tid under begränsade förutsättningar (i och med premissen som innebär beställningsarbete framtaget av tekniker, dvs ingen fysisk tillgång till labben och arbetsyta). Vi har blivit utlovade fler alternativ framtaget av studerektor, professorer och ledning, men det är något som inte har presenterats.

Due to COVID-19 The Swedish School of Textiles has presented their graduate design students with a solution for their degree work which will result in different work conditions. Design students are not allowed to work in the labs or at their work place but the degree work course is supposed to continue as usual but online from home. The presented solution to the students is that the lab technicians take orders that they will carry out for the students. Every lab has different conditions and possibilities to meet the students needs.
During this whole process the students have been excluded from the decision making process, which has been pointed out several times. In a situation like this we think that the opinions of the students are of utter importance and we feel that the communication, between students, faculty and management, has been deplorable. We were promised several alternative solutions to take in consideration but so far we have been presented with one alternative or the possibility to take a study break with no guarantee of being able to graduate.
We want signatures from outsiders but also previous graduates. Our time in the lab is already limited and the proposition we have been given cuts the time down to a bare minimum.
