Låt Aziz få stanna i Sverige!

Hej, Migrationsverket!
Det här är varför vi i vår klass 7a, Sjulnässkolan och många andra tycker att vår klasskompis Aziz och hans familj borde få stanna i Sverige.
Aziz och hans familj flydde hit på grund av att de var rädda, de kände sig otrygga! Aziz pappa Gachay blev torterad av polisen i landet när han sökte bevis för att hans pappa blivit mördad. Om de åker tillbaka kommer deras familj att hotas till livet.
Nu bor Aziz och hans familj i Koler, Aziz och hans syskon går i skolan och det här har blivit en trygg plats, ett hem! Det enda de vill är att få känna trygghet. Tänk efter, hur skulle det kännas för er om ni skulle blivit fråntagna er trygga plats i livet? Den plats där ni mår bra, trivs och utvecklas.
Tänk på vad ni förlorar när ni skickar iväg denna fantastiska familj! Aziz har tydliga framtidsdrömmar om att bli polis, något som vi har för få av i Sverige. Som den omtänksamma person han är vill han hjälpa det svenska samhället.
I barnkonventionens lagar står det i punkt 3 att ”vid alla beslut som rör barn ska i första hand beaktas vad som bedöms vara barnets bästa”. I barnkonventionen som nu även är svensk lag, så har barnen rätt att komma till tals. Att deras åsikter ska beaktas, har ni gjort det i detta fall?
Tänk efter lite! Är verkligen det här bäst för barnen? Aziz lillebror är född i Sverige och kan enbart svenska, han har aldrig satt sin fot i Azerbajdzjan. Här har barnen kompisar och skolan, en trygg plats där de kan vara sig själva utan att vara rädda. Tycker ni att det bästa för Aziz och hans syskon vore att skicka dem till en osäker framtid? Lämna allt de har? Ska de bara ryckas bort från det liv de har skapat här? Ett tryggt hem och vänner som bryr sig om dem. Ska barnens drömmar om en framtid här i Sverige, att få gå i skolan, utbilda sig och ha ett tryggt liv bara försvinna?
Det är helt ofattbart att ni väljer att skicka iväg en barnfamilj när dessutom Aziz lillebror är född i Sverige och att han då ska föras till ett främmande land och behöva lära sig ett helt nytt språk. Att vara trygg, ska det enbart vara ett minne för dem? Barn har rätt till trygghet!
Aziz pappa säger att han hellre svälter ihjäl här i Sverige än att bli mördad i sitt hemland. ”Vi kommer att bli dödade”, säger han. Ni ska skicka iväg dem till deras ”hemland” men Sverige är deras hemland. För här kan de känna sig trygga, här har de alla sina vänner. Det är i Sverige de har sitt hem.
Tänk efter en gång till, vad är bäst för barnen?

This is why we in our class 7a, Sjulnässkolan and many others think that our classmate Aziz and his family should be allowed to stay in Sweden.
Aziz and his family escaped to Sweden because they were scared, they felt insecure! Aziz's father Gachay was tortured by the national police in Azerbaijan while searching for evidence why his father had been murdered. If they return, their family will be threatened with death.
Now Aziz and his family live in Koler, Aziz and his siblings go to school and this has become a safe place, a home! The only thing they want is to feel safe. Think about it, how would you feel if you were deprived of a safe place in life? The place where you feel good, thrive and develop.
Think about what you will lose when you send this amazing family away! Aziz has clear future dream of becoming a police officer, something we will lose if he leaves Sweden. As the caring person he is, he wants to help Swedish society.
The laws of the Convention on the Rights of the Child state in paragraph 3 that "in all decisions concerning children, what is considered to be the best interests of the child shall be taken into account in the first instance". In the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which is now also Swedish law, children have the right to be heard. Their opinions should be taken into account, have you done so in this case?
Think about it! Is this really the best for the kids? Aziz's little brother was born in Sweden and can only speak Swedish, he has never set foot in Azerbaijan. Here the children have friends and school, a safe place where they can be themselves without being afraid.
Do you think the best thing for Aziz and his siblings would be to send them to an uncertain future? Leave everything they have? Should they just be torn away from the life they have created here? A safe home and friends who care about them. The children's dreams of a future here in Sweden, to go to school, get an education and have a secure life, should it just disappear?
It is completely inconceivable that you choose to send back a family with children, when in addition Aziz's little brother is born in Sweden. He would be taken to a foreign country and have to learn a completely new language. To be safe, should it only be a memory for them? Children have the right to security!
Aziz's father says that he would rather starve to death here in Sweden than be murdered in his home country. "We will be killed," he said. You send them away to their "homeland" but Sweden is their homeland. Because here they can feel safe, here they have all their friends. It is in Sweden that they have their home.
Think again, what is best for the children?
