My family and I have a 2 year old blind cat named Stevie. He was born blind and my family and I rescued him from the shelter. He is no different than our 2 other seeing cats. He plays and wrestles with his brother cat, runs around outside, chases bugs and flies, plays with toys, travels in the car and RV to different states in America. He is the chillest cat ever and he’s blind. He can’t see a single thing but that doesn’t stop him from living a wonderful life. We never questioned his value in life and we treat him no differently than our other cats who can see. Kelly deserves to live. She deserves to be valued just the way she is. Her life shouldn’t be cut short because she’s blind. Kelly is and can continue to live a perfectly happy and healthy life - if anything being blind from a young age is an advantage as kittens learn and adapt easily the younger they are. Killing her would be sending a horrific message and there is absolutely no reason to do it.
