In the US we have snactuaries and families that provide loving homes for blind and disabled cats. There is no reason to kill a kitten based upon a false assumption their life will not be happy & full because they are blind. Kelly has a family that wants her and wis willing to provide the special care a blind cat needs. Sweden usually is so compassionate about the wildlife, animal rights, and the environment. This is wrong, all wrong! Blind cats do very well, they climb, hunt, play, are affectionate and loving just like any cat! I have a partly blind cat and I have fostered blind cats, they are wonderful. I have several friends who have had blind cats, and I have had cats who had impaired vision - blind cats can lead very happy lives! They still have their other senses, can learn to navigate their environments, and are just as loving and playful as sighted cats!
