I have been in contact with blind cats for many years and find that they are quite capable of finding their way around the house once they are introduced to their home. To say a blind cat has mental problems is pure nonsense any more than saying a blind human has mental problems and I am sure you would never say that. I have been a volunteer at our humane society for 23 years which is a no kill shelter and blind cats and kittens have been readily adopted and we have always heard about their progress with their forever families.
