STOPPA 25m LÅNG CEMENTVÅGBRYTARE
Kullaberget och Mölle ligger oss nära hjärtat. Varje dag räknas tills att vindarna bär med sig vågor som vi kan få surfa på i Mölle.
För att detta ska ske behöver många faktorer spela in, rätt vindriktning + rätt vindstyrka x antal timmar och en botten som gör att vågen formas och blir surfbar. Dessa faktorer är sällsynta och just dem finns i Mölle, ett under värt att bevara tycker vi!
Surfet i sig är en mycket speciell gemenskap som bidrar till en bättre hälsa både fysiskt och psykiskt men också en stark relation till havet, där vi värnar och tar hand om havet samt naturen runtomkring oss.
Vi ber därför om ett stöd att kunna bevara vågen i vackra och mysiga Mölle som ger oss så mycket. Ett stöd att inte tillåta byggnation som kan komma att påverka vågorna negativt. En cementvågbrytare som ska sträcka sig 25m ut i vattnet, varav bryggans totala storlek ska bli 82 kvm och gjutas i betong.

"Länsstyrelsen krävde den 9 juli 2020 i ett samtal med kommunen att de ska samråda med föreningen Skånes Vågsurfare. Länsstyrelsen beslutade 18 augusti 2020 att åtgärden får genomföras med föreläggande om försiktighetsmått.
7 september 2020 så blir Länsstyrelsens beslut överklagat av Skånes Vågsurfare. Det framgår då att kommunen inte fört någon dialog med Skånes Vågsurfare."

The Kullamountain and Mölle hold a special place in the hearts of Swedish surfers. Each day we wait for the winds to bring waves so that we can go surfing in Mölle.
For surf to be present several factors comes into play. The direction, the strength and the duration of the wind needs to be just right and the ocean floor also plays an important role in the formation of surfable waves. Such conditions are really rare in Sweden and they happen to occur in Mölle on a regular basis. We think this is very special and worth protecting and preserving.
There’s a strong sense of community amongst surfers which is formed through the shared experience of being in the water together. Surfing contributes to improved mental and physical health and provides a sense of connection to the ocean and to nature. To take care of the ocean and of nature is very important to us!
We now ask for Your support to help us to preserve this special place and wave that means so much to so many. The local council wants to build a 25 metre long wave breaker which will impact the surf negatively. We cannot let this happen and need your help to stop it. The total so called bridge is going to be 82 square metres cast in concrete, whereupon 25 m will extend into the ocean.
Excerpt from the case:
“On the 9th of Juli 2020, the Swedish County Administrative Board required that the local council of Höganäs to have a dialogue with Skånes Vågsurfare (Scania Surf Association). On the 28th of August 2020 Länsstyrelsen decided to approve that the case may be carried out with an order for precautionary measures.
On the 7th of September 2020 was Länsstyrelsen contacted from the Scania Surf Association lodged an appeal against the decision. It then appears that the municipality (Höganäs kommun) has not had any dialogue with Skånes Vågsurfare (Scania Surf Association)."
